On Thursday 6th May 2021, Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences will host its E-Learning Conference for the seventh time. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, it will be held exclusively online for the first time.

Also for the first time, the E-Learning Conference 2021 will be part of the digital International Week 2021 and will therefore feature projects and "good practices" related to Internationalisation and Digitalisation:
Concepts and programmes such as "Virtual Mobility", "Open Educational Resources (OER)" or "Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)" prove the link between internationalisation and digitalisation as being successfully established in the higher education context. Digitalization opens up new opportunities for the internationalisation of universities, from teaching to creating and maintaining partnerships.

The virtual format makes the E-Learning Conference accessible to wider target groups than before: We invite all lecturers, project leaders and project team members with an international focus to participate. We are pleased about the participation of the IMKD projects (International Mobility and Cooperation Digital) of the DAAD and their international partner universities.
As another novelty this year, students are invited to contribute with their perspectives on digital and transnational teaching.

Am Donnerstag, den 06.05.2021, richtet die HSBI zum siebten Mal die E-Learning-Konferenz aus. Aufgrund der aktuellen COVID-19-Situation wird die Veranstaltung erstmals vollständig online stattfinden. Ebenfalls zum ersten Mal findet die E-Learning-Konferenz 2021 im Rahmen der digitalen Internationalen Woche 2021 statt und fokussiert sich daher auf Projekte und „Good Practices“ zum Thema „Internationalisierung und Digitalisierung“:   
Konzepte und Programme wie „Virtuelle Mobilität“, „Open Educational Resources (OER)“ oder „Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)“ zeigen, dass die Verbindung zwischen Internationalisierung und Digitalisierung erfolgreich im Hochschulkontext verankert ist. Die Digitalisierung eröffnet neue Möglichkeiten für die Internationalisierung von Hochschulen, von der Lehre bis hin zur Gestaltung und Pflege von Partnerschaften.

Das virtuelle Format der E-Learning-Konferenz öffnet die Veranstaltung für weitere Zielgruppen als bisher: Wir begrüßen die Teilnahme aller Lehrenden, Projektleiter*innen und -mitarbeiter*innen mit internationalem Bezug. Wir freuen uns auch über die Beteiligung der IMKD-Projekte (Internationale Mobilität und Kooperation digital) des DAAD und ihrer internationalen Partnerhochschulen.
Als weitere Premiere werden in diesem Jahr erstmals auch Studierende eingeladen, ihre Perspektiven auf digitale und transnationale Lehre einzubringen.
