Desktop Drama is inspired by Lin Ke’s performances on the desktop screen like „Ghost“, where he uses a computer desktop folder and turns it into a ghost. The simplicity of his work makes the brain slow down for a second and turns it into a kind of meditating mode. In many of his artworks he uses objects and tools from the desktop in a way that makes you interpret them in different ways. Therefore he creates stories in the viewers mind. I tried to literally turn my desktop screen into a stage. I created a stage play with an emoji-audience, a conductor, good and bad singing pictures, with drama, love and death. And of course an explosion.
