Washing Day

Inspired by Pete Jiadong Qiang’s collages and cross-media dialogues, I derived from virtual images to reinterpret them via the detour of the real world, thus creating a new space as well as physicality. For this purpose, I projected the image material onto my real environment and onto myself. Afterwards I used photogrammetry to merge those two worlds and to lead them back into the virtual world. The result is a mixture in which my real everyday life and my life in Bielefeld merge with the digital spaces, and in which I find myself as an avatar in this newly created environment.
